but almost ALL Android phones have a GPS receiver.
This app will report the direction of travel using GPS only.
INSTRUCTIONS :
1) Turn on the GPS receiver using the pull-down Android system menu.
The icon may be labelled "GPS" or "Location" depending on your Android version.
Longitude and latitude information will appear on screen once ready.
2) Move 10+ meters in any direction.
3) Press the update button to determine the direction of travel.
The current location and a previous location will be used ( 2 GPS points ).
In order to conserve battery life, users should turn off the GPS receiver
once they have determined the direction of travel.
CONTROLS :
HUD :
center compass -> displays the direction of travel between the two gps points
longitude -> current longitude
latitude -> current latitude
GPS LOG :
This app is completely free and will never require the internet.
